If there’s one thing better than garlic bread, it’s garlic bread with cheese.
A few nights ago I had cheesy chicken spaghetti. I must have been in the mood for cheese, because I decided this cheesy garlic bread would be the perfect accompaniment. And it was. I love cheese.
Cheesy garlic bread
Adapted from Lauren’s Latest
Makes 1 garlic bread pizza
Ingredients:
About 250g of your favourite pizza dough (I used the leftover ball I had from this recipe)
30g softened butter (I used lightly salted)
2 garlic cloves, crushed
black pepper, to season
a pinch of oregano
120g grated mozzarella
20g parmesan, grated (I think the ready grated stuff is gross)
Preheat the oven to 250C and put a large baking tray in at the same time.
In a bowl, mix together the butter, garlic, pepper and oregano.
Roll out the pizza dough into whatever shape you like and spread the butter mixture all over.
Remove the baking tray from the oven and lay the rolled out and butter dough on it. Top with the cheeses.
Bake for 9-10 minutes, or until golden and bubbling. Serve with super cheesy pasta and have some mental dreams.
Oh, I could eat that whole thing myself!!
Thanks for featuring my recipe! 🙂
